Reso is a network of physicians, mostly dermatologists, specialized in chronic inflammatory dermatosis. We wanted to perform this study in order to evaluate the perception of the COVID-19 pandemic by dermatologists and patients suffering from chronic inflammatory dermatosis. This unique phenomenon has led to sudden and major modifications in the way physicians manage their patients, rapid development of online consultations, concerns about safety of immunomodulatory and biological treatments, needs for more relevant information for the patients, etc. Strategies for providing updated information have been digital including webinars for patients, information letters for dermatologists, etc.

Platelet-rich plasma injections have been presented as an effective treatment for androgenetic alopecia; however, reliable study data concerning this therapy are lacking. The current randomized, placebo-controlled pilot study explored this novel therapy in 30 healthy male subjects with androgenetic alopecia. Five platelet-rich plasma treatments, at intervals of 4–6 weeks, and 2 follow-up examina ...

Childhood ps ...

Recent studies suggest that folliculotropic mycosis fungoides (FMF), the most common variant of mycosis fungoides (MF), presents with 2 distinct clinicopathological stages: early indolent stage and more aggressive advanced/tumour stage. To further characterize these stages, miR-155 expression was studied with qRT-PCR and found to be significantly higher in biopsies of tumour-stage FMF compared wit ...

Cutaneous involvement in Waldenström’s macroglobulinaemia (WM) has been poorly characterized. To describe this involvement, a retrospective study of 19 patients with WM and cutaneous involvement of tumour B cells was performed. Twelve patients (group 1) had lymphoplasmacytic, non-transformed cutaneous proliferation, while in 7 cases (group 2) cutaneous involvement corresponded to histological t ...
